Advent Reminder

As we approach the end of Advent I wanted to check in and see what you remember of this time.

The Advent Season and then The Christmastide season are about preparation for the coming of the Christ and then celebrating his joyful birth among us. Have you remembered this or have you gotten mixed up in the secular side of this Holy Season!

What gifts have you gotten to give unto the King of Kings this year? Don’t be so wrapped up in exchanging gifts with each other that you loose sight that we celebrate the gift of the greatest Gift God gave mankind this season.

It is Christ the newborn King that should be remembered first and foremost and we need to flourish with the gifts the Holy Spirit gave to us to further His Kingdom and Glorify Him.

Remember without the manger we can not have the Cross and Empty Tomb! Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord! Veni, Veni, Emmanuel!

Let us pray!

Father, just as You sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus, help me to clear the path in my heart, too. Show me the distractions in my life that block me from all-out worship of You this Advent. Lord, I await Your coming! As I celebrate the first Advent––the first coming––I look toward the day where I will see You face to face. I imagine what it will be like. Give me a heart, Lord, that looks for Your coming on a daily basis. Help me to live my life where I’m constantly seeking Your presence. My offering to You today is my righteous life for I know I am only clean because of Jesus. Show me today how I need to be refined, purified, forgiven. Give me the strength to ask for forgiveness and to then change my ways.

Pentecost Sunday 2017

Johann Michael Rottmayr ( 1714 )

Introit: The Spirit of the Lord filleth the whole world, alleluia, and that which containeth all things hath knowledge of the voice, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia. Let God arise, and let his enemies be scattered; let them also that hate him flee before him.

The Sacred Ministers kneel before the altar, and all others kneel in place, while the following is sung

All rise, and preparations are made, and the Deacon begins the procession as follows
At the Procession
Deacon: Let us go forth in peace.
In the Name of Christ. Amen. Continue reading

To Err is Human….

To err is human to really mess up you must be Pope Francis!

1

I don’t normally pay much attention to what the Bishop of Rome says but he has said something that is utterly ridiculous and Blasphemous!

Bergoglio the Blasphemer…“Pope” Francis: ‘The Church is like Mary and has Flaws’” he must recanto or face the fires of hell!

The direct quote is: “The Church and the Virgin Mary are mothers, both of them; what is said of the Church can be said also of Our Lady and what is said of Our Lady can also be said of the Church”…“Do we love the Church as we love our mothers, also taking into account her defects? All mothers have defects, we all have defects, but when we speak of our mother’s defects we gloss over them, we love her as she is. And the Church also has her defects: but we love her just as a mother. Do we help her to be more beautiful, more authentic, more in harmony with the Lord?” – Antipope Francis

Now seems to me Christ died for us and the Church making the church spotless and without blemish…or at least that is what the Holy Scripture teaches!

Ephesians 5:25-27 (KJV): 25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Revelations 19:7-8 (Aramaic Bible in English): 7 We rejoice and celebrate! We give him glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself!” 8 And it was given to her to wear fine linen, pure and bright, for the fine linen is the uprightness of The Holy Ones.”

To say the church is flawed goes not only against infallible doctrine but it is a direct blaspheme of Holy Scripture.  The Church is self is not flawed, though we it’s members are we are sinners, redeemed by the bridegroom (Jesus), yet sinners still the same.  To say our Blessed Lady is flawed is downright wrong. AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.  (The words of the Archangel Gabriel to our Blessed Mother).

“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” (Miraculous Medal).
