To the NFL

I’ve always enjoyed football until last year, and it appears that I must continue my boycott of spoiled millionaires who are paid way to much to entertain us.  To refuse to stand for the National Standard/Anthem is a slap to every veteran (living and dead) and current man or woman in uniform.

The game I loved to play in my youth and watch now in my adulthood has become a bitter, unpatriotic and spoiled.  Stand for our National Anthem be proud of those that died to defend your right to be stupid, ignorant and greedy.

Your protests of the National Anthem is petty and un-American and you should be filled with shame.  If you want to protest do so in a way that is not an insult.

I am an American veteran, citizen, and man of God.  If you want to take a knee do so in Church with me and pray to Almighty God that the injustices in this world and divisions would be healed.  Take a knee and pray for the millions that are alone/lonely, who are hungry, who do not have the basic needs of life meet.  Do so where it will do good…not on the field.

God Bless America

  1. Padre Tatro, Eddie, “If you want to take a knee do so in Church with me and pray to Almighty God that the injustices in this world and divisions would be healed.” NFL players may not be in Church with you, Padre, but in essence they ARE turning to God against injustices & divisions. ———SO, Continue to speak your mind & soul as you are, AND WATCH THE GAMES YOU LOVE SO MUCH!!! I don’t watch football. Phil
